| ABOUT US We are a newly opened family home day care in Scotland, CT. The owner, Tracy Herman has been in the Early Childhood Background for ten years now. She has two daughters, the ages of seven and eight months. Just like the small town of Scotland, Baby Steps Childcare provides a small intimate home-like setting in which children can thrive. Having a small number of children helps the children adjust to the situation at hand and it provides for a better learning environment. The children also have a closer bond with the provider and are not subject to staff turnover as they would if they were in a larger day care facility. |
