Hello Gang; Melaena will be taking an extended break from performing (except for the weddings and NFA Class of "79" Reunion that the band has committed to). Our Sax player (Bob Straub) is currently at Brigham Women's Hospital in Boston waiting for a Heart Transplant. We're not sure when Bob will be able to start performing again. The doctors have assured Bob that once he receives a heart, he'll have plenty more gigs to perform. The band has decided to suspend performing until Bob is able to return.We'll try to give you all periodic updates as to Bob's condition and when the band will begin performing again.Take Care and Keep Rocking!!!!!!!See calendar for more
