Bob Straub
One of the founding members of Melaena in the mid 70"s, has performed with numerous national acts including Motown Greats "The Temptations and The Four Tops". Plays Sax, Flute, Percussion, Bass, Keyboards and is one of Melaena's lead vocalist. Bob states: This current group of talented musicians I'm performing with ,is by far, the most versatile I ever performed with. Funk, Rock, R+B, Alternative, and some current country are all part of our repetiore. " Just too much Fun!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

Bert Coburn - Bass, Guitar, Mandolin, Vocals
Bert's nearly 30 years in the music business has served him well. In addition to his 9 year stint in Melaena, he's played with such local groups as; Masque, an early 80's Progressive Rock outfit, and ATM, a late 80's to
early 90's R & B group, as well as other shorter lived aggregations in and around the 90's (including a very short stint in a country band), making for a very well rounded musical career.His main goal with Melaena is to create as tight a rhythm section as possible all while letting the music breathe on it's own. This group has let him do just that, in addition to having the most fun a person can have while still wearing pants......most of the time.

Rich Kornacki - Drums
Rich has been playing the drums for over 30 years and is considered a seasoned veteran behind the drum kit. Whether he is playing Rock, Pop, Progressive Rock, Fusion, R&B, or Country, Rich lays down the groove and supplies the killer fills when needed. This is Rich's second tour as the timekeeper in MELAENA. Rich has also been the drummer since 1990 for Connecticut's internationally acclaimed progressive rock band AFTER THE FALL.

Bob Thibeault – Lead Guitar, Acoustic Guitar and Vocals
Bob has performed as a lead guitarist in various rock groups and show bands since the mid 70’s. In the early 80’s, Bob performed throughout New England in a twelve piece show band called “Top Shelf”. With the demise of that band, Bob joined Melaena. After first joining Melaena, in 81’, Bob recalls, “These are the most talented musicians, I’ve ever played with”. Bob has performed with the band ever since. Some of the original members have come and gone over the years, “but we’ve been blessed” with finding new experienced musicians and the band continues to Rock! Bob performs some of bands material using his beloved “ Taylor” acoustic guitar. “The acoustic changes the overall sound of the band, it keeps the music interesting and exciting” – Bob T 
 
Terri LeClair – Lead Vocals, Keyboards and Bass
Terri (aka Tara) has been the talented female vocalist/keyboardist for Melaena since 2000.Terri has performed on the local and national level for many years. Before joining Melaena, Terri performed with well known National Acts "One Step Higher"and "Shock Treatment".On the local scene, Terri has been a very popular artist performing with "Clockwork" and "Split Second"in addition to her solo act. With her ability to perform many styles of music, Terri is the true professional that can adapt to any situation.
